Bingo number generator
Pre-set to the 1 to 75 range used in American bingo, with repeats off, so each press gives a number that has not been called in that draw. Change the maximum to 90 for the British and Australian game.
How to use
- 1.Leave the range at 1 to 75, or set the maximum to 90 for the 90-ball game.
- 2.Set how many numbers to draw: one at a time to call live, or the full set to generate the whole game up front.
- 3.Keep repeats off. Bingo is a draw without replacement, the same as pulling balls from a cage.
Why repeats must stay off
A called number cannot be called again — that is the game. With repeats on, the generator would hand you the same number twice and a card marked honestly would never fill. The option stays visible rather than hidden, because the same tool with repeats on is useful elsewhere, but for bingo it is simply wrong.
Calling live, or generating the sequence up front
Drawing one number at a time matches how a caller works and lets the room react. Drawing the whole sequence at once, by asking for all seventy-five, gives a full call order you can read down — useful when the same game has to run in several rooms, or when you want to know in advance how many calls it takes to finish.
75-ball and 90-ball
American bingo uses 1 to 75 on a five-by-five card; British and Australian bingo use 1 to 90 on a three-by-nine ticket. Only the maximum changes here. In the American game the letters B-I-N-G-O map to fixed blocks of fifteen, so the number tells you its column — this page gives you the number, not the letter.
Frequently asked questions
Does it print bingo cards?
No, it only calls numbers. Cards need a different layout for every player and come from a card generator.
Can I draw all the numbers at once?
Yes. Set how many to 75 and one press gives the full call order, without repeats.
How do I avoid calling a number twice?
Keep repeats off. Within a single draw the generator cannot return the same number more than once.
Is it the same as a bingo cage?
Statistically yes: a draw without replacement where every remaining number is equally likely. What it does not reproduce is the thing a cage gives a room, which is everyone watching the ball come out.
